ANKARA, June 8 (Xinhua) -- The rising Turkish footballer Emre Mor has signed contract with German giant Borussia Dortmund, Huriyet News reported Tuesday.

Turkish national team coach Fatih Terim granted Mor a half day off to travel to Dortmund to sign the contract, the report said.

The national team also confirmed that Mor was off for ""private business"" and would be back for training late the same day. The 19-year-old' s manager, Muzzi Ozcan, met with BVB executives.

Mor has dual nationality of Turkey and Denmark, which means he can choose which national team to play for. Terim and his squad convinced Mor to play for Turkey instead of Denmark, where he was born and raised, in 2015, and the coach included him in the final squad 23 for the Euro 2016 campaign.

The international interest for the winger peaked after his appearance in a friendly against Montenegro late on May 29 and another one against Slovenia on June 5.

Mor is also in the list of UEFA EURO 2016 young guns XI on the Europe's football website.

" Visited by thousands of tourists every year
, Marmaris is a Turkish port city located on the coast of the Mediterranean. It was once a small fishing village, but rose to prominence owing to a construction boom that the city witnessed during the late twentieth century. Today, it has become a favourite among many tourists owing to its location on the Turkish Riviera's shoreline and its reputation as a centre for diving and sailing. When you are in Marmaris, you can never miss the sight of yachts and vessels of the sailors arriving from various parts of the world.

Marmaris is characterised by the Mediterranean climate. So
, if you plan to spend most of the time basking under warm rays of the sun during your Marmaris holidays, July and August would be the best months for you to be in the Turkish port city. However, the temperatures may rise to 42-degree Celsius and it would be better to stay away from the sun between 12 to 3 pm. It is advisable to avoid visiting the city during the winter months from November to March. Although the weather cools off a little, this part of Turkey experiences heavy rainfall and there are possibilities of storms as well.

There is much to discover and experience in this Turkish city. During your cheap holidays to Marmaris
, you would come across several fascinating beaches. They give you plenty of opportunities to unwind on sandy stretches in the midst of pleasant surroundings. Popular among them is the Uzunyali Beach, also called the Long Beach owing to its coastline that extends to nearly 10 kilometres. You can also explore the Marmaris Urban Beach during your visit to Uzunyali, both the beaches are located close to each other.

Your Marmaris all inclusive holidays would give you the chance to visit the city's famous attractions, which include the Marmaris Museum. It is housed in the renowned Marmaris Castle
, located in the Mugla province. The origin of this castle is believed to date back 5,000 years. It was reconstructed on the orders of Suleyman the Magnificent before he began his expedition to Rhodes. A major portion of this castle was devastated by a French warship during the First World War. The exhibits displayed in the museum would give you some interesting insights of the city's history.

While getting around in Marmaris, you can savour the popular local and international delicacies in its elegant restaurants. The local cuisine of this city uses a wide range of ingredients in its dishes made from steak, chicken
, and lamb. Some of these restaurants have an elaborate menu and also offer special discounts occasionally. If you are travelling with your entire family, you would be delighted by the price reductions in food that many of them offer for kids. If you are looking forward to enjoying a fantastic nightlife during your time spent in this city, you would also find some excellent bars and nightclubs in this part of Turkey.

England's Euro 2016 campaign may have ended in a -humiliating defeat by Iceland, but that did not stop the -national -governing Football -Association making a record 370 million pound ($462 million) turnover during the 2015-16 season.

Figures released by the FA on Thursday in its accounts for the year to July 31
, 2016 showed it made a profit of 7 million pounds after tax, having lost 9 million in 2015.

Turnover was up 52 million pounds to 370 million, allowing the FA to invest 125 million in the domestic game.

Tournament years for the men's national side generally produce greater sponsorship and marketing revenue, with the figures published Thursday also a reflection of job cuts made by the FA and the refinancing of Wembley
, the -national stadium in London, and the St George's Park training center.

"We are delighted to be in such strong financial health," said FA Chief Executive Martin Glenn in a statement. "The FA is for all and this allows us to invest even more money than ever before back into every level of our national game.

"At the end of 2016 we announced key commercial deals, including the international broadcast rights for the Emirates FA Cup and the new 12-year deal with Nike
, which means the FA is extremely well positioned to support English football for the foreseeable -future."

The combined worth of the Nike kit deal and the overseas TV rights for the FA Cup will be nearly 170 million pounds, but those agreements do not start until 2018.

But all the encouraging -financial figures will not ease the pressure on the FA, under fire for both the performance of the men's side and its own governance.
